Lysergic Acid Diethylamide

an original poem;

Blissful, gratified, elated intoxication
I'm all yours if you can meet me
Where the sacred river runs
Down and through the caverns measureless to man
Through and through and to and to
A sunless sea
We're a slow roll Toward home
The tides crash on the afflicted shores of universal law
And we're drowning in light yet thirsting
Endlessly
For the liquid that brings omnipotence
Present in everyday life but starved of understanding
Coursing through our very veins yet daily unacknowledged
And at the drop of the bass in a song you pass on Pandora
We're alive and breathing
And everything is alive and everything is possible
The words that don't need language to be spoken
And don't need to be heard with the ears to be understood are dripping in gold
I'll cut loose and run
But maybe I'll be back
